Exquisite Basketball is a 501(c)(3) that is dedicated to improving the lives of local youth. The members consist of eight N.C.H.S. former students who all graduated and played all four years on the Bulldog varsity basketball team. The members are Ronald Ringgold Jr., Shanta Phillips, Trevor Nichols, Herbert Dennis Jr., Jermaine Ringgold Jr., John Dawson, Montasia Phillips and Terae Warner. All members still have a great love for the game, and wanted to somehow give back to their community, which is how Exquisite Basketball came about. The goal is to bring children together of all ages, genders, and ethnicity to teach them core fundamentals of the game of basketball as well as some core fundamentals of life. Exquisite plans to build & uplift the character and self-esteem within each child and show them the importance of team bonding and exemplifying leadership skills. Exquisite wants every child to know & believe that they are great! Our motto is “why be ordinary, when you can be EXQUISITE”. We want every child to recognize their worth, to know that they should always shine and be Exquisite on & off the basketball court!
